Pengalaman setelah bertahun menumpang dari satu hotel ke satu hotel di Johor Bharu, akhirnya menemukan mek dengan The best of the best..... Lebih kurang macam hotel idaman seisi keluarga kat Johor yang marbelous..  Hotel DoubleTree By Hilton JB. Meh mek story....

Okey mula mula meh cakap pasal servis..  Service Kat DoubleTree memang tip top hilltop! Dari tempahan, arrival, housekeeping. Semua-semua kaya dengan senyuman. Setiap permintaan senantiasa di deliver smoothly with minimal hiccups.  Sebenarnya we are not very hard to pleased pun. But we do appreciate great hospitality, welcomeness and a pleasant smile when we travel. And yes we felt right at home every time we checked-in to DoubleTree JB. 

It's so refreshing to kick off the day with so many smiles. Sampai mek pun rasa nak senyum-senyum selalu. The after effect, macam berjangkit. Rasa happy je... 😊

Second like... Bilik tidurnya. Walaupun kami hanya pilih bilik paling standar - Deluxe room. But the room felt awh so luxurious. Super comfy bed, pillows, decent size, hot shower, Semua-semua best la! Boleh mandi manda anak beranak golek-golek Dilwale tengok tv! 

Thirdly - Location. City Mall is just a short walk away. Opp hotel ada mini mart Dan beberapa kedai makan murah dan sedap. Clinic pun sebelah hotel je. Sinagpore entrance pun dekat je kalau nak pi Singapore nak duduk hotel best.  separuh harga mewah hotel Singapore with great service. DoubleTree wajib cuba

Jalan-jalan Cari Makan Best di Johor Bharu

Dekat Johor memang banyak makanan sedap! Dari menu sarapan, makan tengah hari, dinner, supper... Semua best-best. Dan setelah 5 tahun berkahwin to a Joharian. I have found my number one Makan Best Di Johor Bharu -

Steambout Rawa, Taman Pelangi

Haaaa... kalau tak tau... Bestnya memang melampau-lampau.. Boleh naik berkilos-kilos satu santapan... Tapi percaya lah... AFter more than 300km driving down from Kuala Lumpur. Kalau tak makan kat steamboat rawa ni akak abangs... memang rugi.. rugi... RUGIIII😋.

Ok bukan niat nak meliurkan sesiapa.. Just nak share betapa oumph nya Steamboat Rawa ni! Keistimewaan no satu. Patut puji Sup Tomyam kat sini yang sangat marvelous... Rasa tak terlalu pedas.. NAMUN ada kick that could definitely rock your tummy with happy tunes. Lagi-lagi waktu dinner.. Atau hujan.. Atau perut keroncong... Pergh.... burpppp opps poott (tutup mulut) excuse me 😋

Dekat Steamboat Rawa aneka menu pelbagai.. Each nicely packed and wrapped to feed your hunger feast. Sayur, seafood, fish ball, daging, dumpling? Semua-semua ada lah... Sesuai untuk semua peringkat umur. For us not just the mama yang excited.. My lil one was having a good tummy time too. Daddy apakan lagi...Bagai kan buaya membaham di kampun halaman.. :P

Sementara nak tunggu sup panas..  Restaurant Steamboat Rawa come full equipped with appetizer atau pembuka selera.  Kacang dan jeruk yang best. Boleh layan sambil pot pet pot pet..

In additional Kalau nak tambah masakan panas pun ada. My fave Ketam butter crab.. Kepekatan sos yang sangat membahayakan rancangan meguruskan diri.. Meleleh ayaq liur.. 

So yes! If you're in Jb I recommend untuk Makan Sedap Johor di Steamboat Rawa. Tips kalau nak cari.. tak susah.. Waze kan aje.. Type ; Steamboat Rawa, Taman Pelangi. Tapi Hati-hati! Sebelum cuba.. Perlu tahu.. makan kat sini memang berhantu.. Berdasarkan pengalaman sendiri.. Sekali cuba asyik terminpi-mimpi.. Dalam mimpi sup tomyam memangil-mangil... "Steamboat Rawa.. Steamboat Rawa" kekeke.. Consume at own risk ok?

Asos online coupon anybody?

So I purchased my first online shopping - Asos today.  How exciting teehee..

If only I have a Jennie in a bottle to speed up the delivery though. Just one blink and "knock knock" new shining parcel delivered straight to the door! 🤓 But yes "sabar separuh dari Iman" so sabar I WILL for the next 2 weeks 😊

On another note.. Do you know any Asos online discount code? I receive  an email with a code BUT unfortunately for me the code can only be used for US and Canada delivery, ends March 18 2016.

Toddler sleep train challenge - Day Two

Truth is... day two and three was a failure. Not that Baby E refuse to sleep on her own. Mama was the one who backed off. Not wanting lil one to be apart.. Keeping her closed by..

Ya I know... I should take the blame. But how?? Macam susah jer! Walaupun baby cot tu sebenarnya sebelah katil je pun.  Tapi mummy sedih macam cik sentil dah besar nak ke obersea rasa jauhnya.  :..(

But tonight.. Mummy redha.. And we shall put the toddler sleep train, no cry challenge - day two another go.  

And.. After and hour of tepuk menepuk.. My lil girl finally slept on her own! Woohoo.. No cry. No fuss. Just an additional 2 bottles of 300ml milk later! Gulp 😮

I do hope we will continue to succeed in the next few days. 5 more days on this toddler sleep train no cry challenge before we can finally call it a routine. Yay!

As of now here's a lil tips and trick based on my very own experience. I shall continue to update from time to time should it turn to be a success. Wish us luck! :)

My tips

Sticking to same daily pre sleep pattern is key. (Shower - light play time - pampers change - good night kiss - milk - light pat - zzzz )

Comfort your child beforehand by telling em it's ok to sleep on their own, we loves em, lots of hugs, kisses, assurance that everything will turns ok 

Patient it may take longer at first, getting them to bed than usual. But will only be in the beginning. Once they adapt to the new change. Sleep will be better for everyone - baby, mum and dad

Be consistent - as a new mum everyday is a learning process. But what I do learned it's easier to get lil one to behave in a certain way by repeating and following a structured routine. Which are also great at keeping em discipline.

Toddler Sleep Train Challenge - Day One

Toddler sleep train is tough! Well for me at least. 

The thing is my girl have been sleeping in our bed since day one we've been back home after birth. Yes wrong move mama! Ever since I've been trying to train her to sleep in her own bed. Fast forward to almost 2 years after. Still no luck.. Zzzz...

It's not that I don't enjoy having her in our bed. I do! I actually love having her sharing our small space, smelling, hugging and having her closed by. Butt she's a big girl now. Sooner or later she need to learn how to sleep on her own. Especially now that she's almost half of my size.. Errrrr mummy Asyik Kena karate je.. 

So today shall be the first day on our one week challenge to sleep train my toddler to sleep in her own bed. The ingredients? 

Comfy bed 

Elmo sleep train soft toy I got from Amazon

Milk 

Sleepy baby

Tepuk-tepuk sikit 

Consistency sleeping time

What Ive learned Ticket penerbangan ke luar negara selalunya lebih murah untuk pernerbangan yang berlepas hari Ahad atau sabtu. Return during weekdays. Bergantung kepada destinasi. You just have to be flexible on your flight date to get the best rate. :)

Rajin survey website airline untuk dapatkan tiket paling murah

Check harga tiket ke destinasi pilihan luar negara dari beberapa airlines yang berbeza. Malaysia airline, Etihad, KLM, Singapore airline. Bangkok airline, Cathay, etc etc untuk dapatkan harga paling murah.

Mek suka  Survey melalui online flight comparison website seperti Kayak.com. Pyotravel.com atau Expedia.com to have a brief idea on who offer the best price ke destinasi percutian pilihan. DAN wajib recompare lagi sekali di website airline itu sendiri untuk kepastian. 

Boleh juga tempah tiket pernerbangan waktu promosi seperti Matta fair atau air Asia big sales. Waktu terbaik untuk membuat penempahan is during the weekdays dan super late at night when traffic is lower. 

Sign up for frequent flyer membership. Registration are free. Advantage sebagai member boleh kumpul points. Boleh juga transfer point dari credit/debit card untuk redeem tiket pernerbangan percuma atau seat upgrade. Contoh Enrich - Firefly & malaysia airline. Be alert they also usually runs enrich promo twice or more a year untuk redeem flights dengan points yang lebih rendah. As a member you will be notified by email used when u signed up. 

Nescaya lebih tinggi kebarangkalian untuk dapatkan best price for the best date. :)

Tripadvisor.com is one of my travel website must view! You can read previous Travellers review yang pernah stay di hotel m tanpa bias. Boleh juga lihat contoh gambar bilik, permandangan, lokasi dan lain-lain from a real traveler lens. So takde la terkejut waktu book gambar hotel meletops terbabooo TAPI bila check In lokasi jauh dimana mana, bilik indah khabar dari rupa. erkkk

Di website Tripadvisor juga. we can estimate the rate by key in date of travel to check price comparison dari beberapa onlinebooking platform seperti Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia even website hotel sendiri untuk semak best rate sebelum tempah bilik

And yes once dah bersedia untuk book. Make sure to recompare harga booking antara online booking platform vs hotel website.

Pros bila booking dengan online travel agency pula. Website seperti expedia,  booking.com , agoda atau wotif membolehkan pelanggan membuat bayaran in our own currency which can be cheaper via direct banking / credit card. Boleh jimat pada charge international credit card conversion rate dan extra 1% bank service charge. Just make sure to choose payment in your own currency bila membuat penempahan
