Keratin treatment tu apa? Percutian Ke Koh Samui. Apa yang best?

Destinasi Percutian Koh Samui.

Tahun ni MrG approve permintaan mek untuk celebrate birthday ke Thailand setahun lagi.  Apa lagi senyum gembira goyang goyang tepuk tangan, hehe

If you don't already know. di Thailand terdapat banyak Pulau-Pulau percutian yang dicalonkan antara tercantik di Asia malah dunia. 

Antara pulau-pulau favorite untuk percutian pantai di Thailand - Koh phi phi, Koh samui, Koh Pa Nghan dan Koh Lanta. Koh tu bermaksud pulau / island dalam bahasa Thailand. 

So.... Di Koh Samui apa yang best? Meh mek story.....

PANTAI / BEACH 

Pantai Chaweng

Air laut di Koh Samui tenang, cetek dan bersih. Bila berenang, boleh jalan jauhhhhhhhh masuk ke laut. TAPI hakikatnya air takat-takat peha / pinggang sahaja..

Ombak pun ala ala.. slow and steady... tak besar bercurrent bagai. Berbeza dengan pantai pantai percutian daerah Indonesia seperti Bali yang mempunyai ombak yang agak besar.... Making Koh Samui Beach that perfect natural pool kepada golongan yang tak berapa terrer berenang seperti myself included  🙈🙈

Shopping bila bercuti di Koh Samui ni kebanyakan barang yang dijual lebih kepada barang barang bercirikan percutian pantai. Seperti dress, t- shirt, singlet, accessories, barang hiasan rumah dll. 

Area yang biasa dikunjungi untuk untuk shopping di Samui - Lamai Beach atau Chaweng. Concept membeli di sini harus bargain! Kalau nampak sesuatu yang berkenan bargaining skills is a must! Harga akhir biasanya antara 30-50% daripada harga asal bergantung kepada mood penjual dan kebijaksanaan anda dalam tawar menawar..

Untuk tempat penginapan percutian ke Koh Samui kali ni we stayed in 2 different hotel dan location 

Hotel pertama ; Le Meridien Koh Samui, Lamai

Entrance Hotel Le Meridien Koh Samui

Hotel Le Meridien terletak lebih kurang 5 min menaiki kereta dari Lamai Town. Dekorasi di sini bercirikan luxury, Thai dan resort pantai. 

What I like about Le Meridien Samui? Bilik pool villa yang selesa dengan kolam renang persendirian. Size tak terlalu besar tak terlalu kecil. 

Kalau yang nak berhoneymoon recomend amik bilik ni. Very the romantic. Untuk kami pengantin lama ni pun nak fefeling romantic juga.. hehe walaupun sisentil senantiasa berkepit 

Selain dari tu mek suka their simple deco. Walaupun Le Meridien Samui ni tak la sebesar mana tapi sebaik sahaja  melangkah masuk u can feel like you've be transported and arrived at your dream destination where everything is so peace and serene. 

Hotel ni tak pernah terasa sibuk. In fact sometime rasa macam kami sekeluaga je yang ada kat situ.

Hotel kedua : Hotel Amari, Chaweng

Next, kami pindah ke Hotel Amari Samui yang terletak di Chaweng. Lokasi hotel ni best.. sesuai untuk keluarga... 

Dinner by the beach not far from Amari Samui

Di Hotel Amari ni... You can walk to anywhere. Shopping, spa, massage, restaurant? Semunya anggaran 5-20 min berjalan kaki sahaja melalui. jalan utama atau tepian pantai. Kalau malas nak jalan.. boleh je hail a tut tut.  

Hard Rock Samui

Harga tut tut dari Hard Rock Samui contoh antara 100 bth-150 bath ke Hotel Amari Samui untuk a family of 5. 

Bilik deluxe room. The size is spacious enough untuk 2-3 person per room. Dekorasi berconceptkan modern dan hotel ni baru sahaja selesai proses refurbishment.

Overall we had a great 7 days bercuti bersama keluarga di Koh Samui.

Yesterday, I witnessed Alia Bastamam Raya RTW 2016 collection at Publika. 

Jaw dropped. Droolness. Eyes wide open. All so pwettie!! 

The bajus so ONS. Simple yet elegant. A definite timeless, an usual one would expect from the talented designer - Alia Bastamam

The RTW pieces are divided into 2 categories. The AliaB which can be purchased via Fashion Valet and Alia Bastamam RTW made available exclusively at their very own showroom. 

I can't wait to try some of the pieces myself. Obviously can't afford to have all. But WAJIB BELI. At least one piece #projekmenabungbajurayastartsnow

Breakfast date with Sesame Street in Singapore

Keep calm and Oumm nomm nomm nommm

So we recently went from a short weekend break in Singapore. 

Main reason - An early birthday treat for our lil one, 

Breakfast Date with Sesame Street Characters at The Universal Studio. 

The thing is, our girl is a huge fan of the show. HUGE! Its like she eat, sleep and wake for the geng. 

Got our tickets online a month before the trip via RWSentosa Website. 

Priced at SGD 100 per adult. A morning filled with up closed and personal with The Sesame Street's gang which also includes admission to Universal Studio Singapore.

For Sesame Street Breakfast patron, we got to enter an hour earlier at 9am instead the usual operations between 10am - 8pm. 

So what do one jakun family do when they get to go in before others could? 

Kiasu as we are, of course we took lots and lots of pictures. Kekeke 🤓

Foodwise, ok lah. Nothing fancy, elmo-ish inspired.The makan was just So-So. Main highlight are still the meet and greet.

At 11am we settle down for their showcased. Live performance just opposite the restaurant. They dance, sing, joke. The usual Sesame Street's act one would expect.

It was indeed a great morning spent with Elmo, Ernie, Bert and Cookies Monster at The Universal Studio Singapore. 

Well it's unfortunate we didnt get to see Big Bird that day though. Hope he's doing alright. 

Yet to sum it up, If you have kids and loves Elmo as much as ours do. Go! Book that trip! 

Percayalah. You're in for a fun filled morning at the park.

Sk2 ritual for grumpy mum in 30's

SK2 in 30's

Growing up, my skin have always been proned to acne. Teens was a messed. 20's was embarrassing and 30s? Lets just say I've been plain lazy. 🤓.

Years ago before THE wedding took placed. I signed up for laser package with Dr Ranjit in Subang. I was highly motivated to get great skin, great pictures, bride flawless so my hubs will be in wowed on our honeymoon. Fefeling terlebih love story movie I was 🙈

5 laser skin date later. An ambitious set of sk2 ritual months before the big day. I did! I achieved my dream. 

Had flawless, better skin, shined thru wedding day AND thousands of ringgit poorer, sobs 😢 

As life continue after "sah". I discovered a new disease. commitment to skin care ritual decreased tremendously. 

No more trips down to Ranjit. slaughting skin care after shower, weekly and monthly facial at home or spa. BOOM!  I am now M.A.L.A.S

Fast forward to recent date. Suami Hari  I woke up to see wrinkly, pitted scar, an older grumpy mum. A reflection of who i am today. Wrinkles have greeted me with a big HEY-YOU! An upgraded to 3 series. Sobssss

So now what? 

I turned panic.. Mengelabah... Menyesal.. Stress! Owh how did my 20's wrinkled free skin leave me behind. To top it off. I still suffer from pitted skin scars. An aftermath from teens acne.. 

I have really bad skin. Criessss 

Then.. I visited Sk2 counter after what seems like forever of skin neglect. 

After 20 min chat with the friendly sales rep at Metrojaya The Curve, remotivated, I purchased a set of SK2 ritual once again. She promised great skin after one month. Clear, supple no wrinkly? Jump up jump down.. Clap clap.. My eyes was shiny with hope.  

Owh wait.. Realistic please.. 

She rephrase "skin will get better as time goes by BUT obviously it will require full commitment and scary cash flow." 

"So what can I see in a month then?" 

"A slight improvement. 20-30% mostly on pigmentation and skin moist to start with" 

Okeylah.. Better than nothing can. I have to start somewhere..

That morning, I walked away with a bag of sk2 set ritual. And yes thousand ringgit poorer once again. If only I've continued my good skin routine after wedding. I probably won't need that much.. Sobs. 

So that was last week. Will I succeed in achieving that clear, stretched skin? 

I'm aint sure either. 

Guess we just have to wait and see

Lama tak tengok Astro First kat TV. Dulu waktu jadi suri rumah tangga sepenuh masa. Waktu tu belum ada cik sentil lagi. Jari-jemari selalu mengatal.. scroll butang remote tetiba sms blink blink

Hari ni, setelah sekian lama.. kegatalan kembali lagi. 

Tajuk movie "Ola Bola" yang memang best melampau! 

Sebelum ni selalu dengar orang cerita je.. "Movie Ola Bola best" "Gaya rambut pelakon Ola Bola" etc etc... Tapi disebabkan masa yang suntuk dan kekononnan busy memanjang. Jarang merasa dapat dating  pimpin tangan pergi GSC, TGV atau seangkatan dengannya. (Alasan je tu, sebenarnya malas nak keluar)

So today sambil-sambil duduk saja makan burger roti telur mata dan minum air sirap ais, Astro First Ola Bola terbeli. Owh boy... and I was not disappoint. 

Serious movie ni best! 

Tak jemu mata menonton. 

Story line sangat baik. Lengkap maksud tersurat tersirat pendoman untuk semua. 

Camgini agaknya cikgu karangan suruh tulis jalan cerita essay waktu sekolah dulu. Kalau mek tau confirm result karangan A+++. Kekeke

But yes citer Oh Bola memang best! Dengan tu mek kasi 5 ha! 😍

Thing yang paling i suka. How they portray Malaysian to live harmonies regardless of race, skin color dll. Dan of course ending movie yang macam mula-mula agak tergantung tapi diselit dengan happy ending. 

Quote "Sama-sama menang, Sama-sama kalah" 

It was +-2 hours well spent. To sum it up I wish more malaysia movie can be as good as this. Next purchase nak tengok Khurafat pula. Khurafat pun dengar A+++ juga. Astro first bila nak start? #supportthelocalscene #saynotopiratedvd #jomtengokceritamalaysia Astro first box office movie

Cuti-Cuti Johor - DoubleTree By Hilton

Officially our favorite hotel in Johor! 

Pengalaman setelah bertahun menumpang dari satu hotel ke satu hotel di Johor Bharu, akhirnya menemukan mek dengan The best of the best..... Lebih kurang macam hotel idaman seisi keluarga kat Johor yang marbelous..  Hotel DoubleTree By Hilton JB. Meh mek story....

Okey mula mula meh cakap pasal servis..  Service Kat DoubleTree memang tip top hilltop! Dari tempahan, arrival, housekeeping. Semua-semua kaya dengan senyuman. Setiap permintaan senantiasa di deliver smoothly with minimal hiccups.  Sebenarnya we are not very hard to pleased pun. But we do appreciate great hospitality, welcomeness and a pleasant smile when we travel. And yes we felt right at home every time we checked-in to DoubleTree JB. 

It's so refreshing to kick off the day with so many smiles. Sampai mek pun rasa nak senyum-senyum selalu. The after effect, macam berjangkit. Rasa happy je... 😊

Second like... Bilik tidurnya. Walaupun kami hanya pilih bilik paling standar - Deluxe room. But the room felt awh so luxurious. Super comfy bed, pillows, decent size, hot shower, Semua-semua best la! Boleh mandi manda anak beranak golek-golek Dilwale tengok tv! 

Thirdly - Location. City Mall is just a short walk away. Opp hotel ada mini mart Dan beberapa kedai makan murah dan sedap. Clinic pun sebelah hotel je. Sinagpore entrance pun dekat je kalau nak pi Singapore nak duduk hotel best.  separuh harga mewah hotel Singapore with great service. DoubleTree wajib cuba
